We have received a few complaints about us removing fried food from our menu.
It's actually turned out to be the best thing we could have done... Not only is the new menu flying out the door, once again we were ahead of the curve. And now everyone that comes in eats including families for lunch and dinner. Two weeks after we made our changes which were in the works for over a month Steven Starr had a three page interview about what restaurants need to do in this economy. Then in one of last months foodie mags Bobby Flay came out and said the same thing. What they said is exactly what Stephanies had already been doing for 3 weeks. Of course change is hard for some people but change is always good. Anyone who knows about the restaurant business understands what needs to be done. When you sell fries or anykind of fried food not only are your costs way out there so are your utility bills. By eliminating these products you maximize your ability to stay in business.
